📆 03.08.2025 — Faroe in sight

📍 Location: ///quail.peacemakers.background

🛳️ Safe arrival in Tórshavn at 6pm, right on time.

After a few minutes of getting back on land, we take the road north to find a place to set up camp before nightfall.

🎯 We settle down at a spectacular viewpoint, facing the sea, to admire the two rock formations of Risin og Kellingin — the Giant and the Witch.

According to local legend, these two giants from Iceland were on a mission to steal from the Faroe Islands and bring them back home.

But they waited too long, and the sun rose.

Caught by the first rays, they were turned to stone, frozen forever in the sea, facing the cliffs of the island of Eysturoy.

🌙 After this legendary encounter, a good night's sleep.

The wind blows, the ocean watches, and the road continues tomorrow.
