📆 04.08.2025 — A dry afternoon

📍 Location: ///windbreaker.drowsy.reopens

After our morning stroll between stone giants and soggy paths, we settled in Vestmanna for the afternoon.

🎨 Gabrielle gets out her paintbrushes, a few sketches are born in the rain, while I get busy on two or three DIY projects — all sheltered in the campsite room, nice and warm.

🚿 And above all… hot shower.

A simple luxury, but precious after a few days on wet roads.

No big ambitions today, just some quiet time, creating, repairing, and preparing.

Tomorrow, if the weather allows us a window, we will tackle a more serious hike.

🌧️ In the meantime, tonight we fall asleep in the pouring rain, comfortably installed, with the lapping of the roof as a lullaby.
