Last night the train finally left 3 hours late...

But the magic of the railway worked: despite everything, we arrived in Hamburg on time this morning.

(A small feat, even with the 30-minute margin due to a recent derailment somewhere in Germany.)

🚗 We left Jimny for the day in a secure parking lot, while we went exploring the city.

🎨 Visit to the Hamburger Kunsthalle,

☕ then coffee in an unlikely place: the Feuerschiff 13, a former lightship transformed into a restaurant, hotel, and floating café. A unique atmosphere, between rust and varnished wood, with the lapping of the water in the background.

Tonight, heading north.

We leave Hamburg and aim for an overnight stop between here and Hirtshals.

🇩🇰 Copenhagen will wait for the return.
