Yesterday, a big expedition... to the supermarket.
Objective: gather a month's worth of provisions to live on, cook, and get by without a fridge or a market, while remaining a little happy.
Obviously: nothing fresh, but everything to survive (and a little more).
On the menu (in no particular order):
🫖 tea,
🍫 cereal bars & nutrition bars,
🥣 soups,
🍝 pasta & rice,
🧂 cooking aids: sauces, spices,
🥜 almonds, dried fruit,
☕ coffee (important),
🥫 a few boxes - because nothing's more convenient than a box at the right time.
All this is now stored in two separate boxes:
📦 easy access for everyday use,
📦 a reserve box (more in the back, but "in the back" in a Jimny is still very relative...).
Meanwhile, the car is still at the garage.
Or rather: at three different garages this week, each doing their part to ensure that everything is ready, that nothing will fail at the other end of the black desert, and that the mechanics will be as reliable as the notebook.
So much for this week's news.
The road takes shape - and so does the kitchen.
